the8fest is off hiatus and festival submissions are now open!! The 2026 iteration of the fest will take place in September 2026 (Dates TBD).

As a reminder all submitted films MUST have been shot on 8mm, Super8, or 9.5mm and MUST be available to be projected via analogue projector in-person at the festival later this year.
